Confused I hate this disease.............

It's not fair at all.....I hate it.....why?.....Rinse and repeat. A question to those dealing with spms -- even though we don't have actual exacerbations, do you have times when existing problems are much worse?

My all ready spastic legs have turned into whole spastic body. It's almost impossible for me to sit up straight and lean forward (to pick up my little dog). Had the spastic bladder thing happen again and had to have my catheter removed. You know what that means and I'm unable to reach my pants to change. Thankfully I do have an aide coming in one hour a day just for that purpose....changing, bathing, etc.....but in-between I'm stuck. Now the Home Health Agency is suggesting a personal care home. NOOOO!

The pain is worse, headache too, soooo stiff....you get the picture. So, do you think this could be a type of flare? I sure hope it is and will go away soon. Thanks for your thoughts.

I just said a little prayer just for you Judy... May the Lord give you the extra strength to be able to stay in your little home with your little dog for a long time.

make that a tri-peat of Sally's prayer. I hope you are in a flare (feels odd to write that!) and that things will level off.
