Umbrella drinks and chocolates all around!!

Thank you everyone - your support is tremendous! I've felt so alone lately, like no one around me understands what I'm going through. And I have great family and friends....but there's nothing like the support from someone who's been there.

As far as the off beat humor...I'll fit right in. After I almost fell last weekend, I made my friends promise they will always laugh and crack a joke if I start stumbling on a regular basis. (after all, weebles wobble...but we don't fall down).

I do have one question. The majority of my symptoms seem to be on my left side (although I have them on both, they are stronger on the left). Is this fairly normal in MS?

Sam,

The chocolate is good but can I have a shot or 2 of Jack Daniels, I am not into frew-frew drinks.

In many ways I am an odd ball among the group as I bypassed the first stages and went directly to PPMS, just an over achiever. My symptoms started on my right side and have pretty much stayed there except for having some weakness with my left leg.

With indoor falls you could try doing the old tuck and roll the we learned in grade school gym and turn your falls into entertainment for your friends and family.:cool

Like you I also found that no matter how much my family and friends tried to understand me and my MS, they don't.

No matter where you are or how you feel, good, bad or OK know that the MS friends you make here will always be there for you.

Mike
