My symptoms tend to flare up right around my period. If I am close to my period, I don't even consider it a flare unless a new symptom appears. Hormones tend to cause any existing condition to flare right around your period.

It's really crazy how badly it causes my symptoms to be exacerbated.. Now that I am spreading My IVIG to every 3 weeks (they aren't sure what I have - CIDP is current diagnosis, though it doens't really fit.. and possibly seronegative MG)..but whatever it is the IVIG helps greatly.. anyhow now that I'm trying to go from every 2 weeks to 3 weeks my symptoms worsen with hormones even more.. ick!
Have you heard the science behind why symptoms would be exacerbated with hormones?? I wish I could take a pill or something to regulate it! |
