So the other day, while I had a few lingering symptoms, I had pretty much conceded that my symptoms were in fact anxiety related. However the last couple of days I am questioning it all again. Yesterday was a bad, dizzy day. It was bearable but I couldn't wait to get home and just lie down. To day, it is the same pain I had about a month ago. T he best way I know to describe it is like I am wearing a bra 10 sizes too small. It is extreme tightness with spasms that come and go. I have no idea what it is but I do think given everything that it may be a spinal issue. The pinched nerve feeling, and now this again. I'm not saying MS but something with my spine/back? This sounds plausible right?

Sounds like something is going on. I would give your dr. a call. Did you ever get in to see a chiropractor? I know you posted something about a chiropractor. It would be interesting to see what he/she has to say about some of your symptoms as well.
I hope you start feeling better. ![]() |

I hate that they ruin a perfectly good (and wonderful) word like "hug" to use it to describe this VERY common symptom. I usually take baclofen if I haven't already taken my max or the day, I also lie down and put a heating pad directly across my chest. Fortunately I also always have valium on hand, and that works great (usually 5 mg is enough for me).
NOW how about we start calling it the MS Grip? |

Thanks for the replies. I am trying very hard to keep an open mind about what all this might/might not be. I see the neurologist in a week and a half. I am cautiously hopeful it will shed some light on things. However, I have to admit that I am concerned I will be dismissed. I haven't seen a chiropractor yet because even with insurance it seems to be costly. That will be my next step depending on how my neuro appointment goes.

Are you keeping a list of symptoms/occurrences to mention to the neuro? It is very easy to forget something, even important things.

You are right Sparky. I always get flustered and forget. Especially if on that particular day I don't feel bad. I am keeping a list/journal and even noting the good days because I think that could be important as well.

Thanks so much for asking! I am actually feeling fine this week all in all. That is what is so strange. It seems to me, if it was a pulled muscle or pinched nerve it would not come and go the way it does. But, what do I know lol!
