Stomach viruses can stay in your system for a while. The symptoms may resolve but the virus may still be there. In fact, if it was a norovirus, you can still be contagious for up to a month.

That's a pretty high fever for an adult and I'm sure it triggered many MS symptoms. I am sure that just having a virus triggered some MS symptoms as well.

I agree with Trish, Erin. That high fever for over 3 days was wicked
hard on your system. MS loves a fever.

well, hopefully it stops picking on me and leaves me alone soon.

all I've been doing today is falling asleep on my computer chair...or feeling so tired that maybe a energy sucking creature drained all my energy out of me at some point.

I'm just not used to this crap yet, and I've had MS for about 5 or 6yrs (well, diagnosed at least) I dont think I'll ever get used to this.

Two's company - three's a crowd! MS and fever as previously stated are best friends, and you are left as the very poor relation.

So sorry to hear that you have been unwell. As my neuro just said to me, until the virus/illness is under control and they can see what the MS damage is left in the wash-up it is impossible to know what is what.

Good luck and try to get well.

Hugs

Lyn

that virus was under control about 3 or 4 days after it started. It's gone. I'm just left here dodging the shrapnel from whatever the fever did to me

by the way, walking is worse this morning. It's like someone increased the gravity settings for the earth. This really sucks.
