Default The Yawns?

What causes the unstoppable yawns? I'm not sleepy,
I had a nice afternoon nap. So why can't I stop
yawning?

I wouldn't mind so much, but it interrupts my thoughts
and causes my nose to get stopped and then run like
crazy. It's maddening.

Any ideas anyone? Is it an MS thingy, ya think?

Thanks Marion, I took some really deep breaths and
that seemed to help at first and then, that caused me to
yawn, also.

I was doing the endless yawning and it turned out to be low blood O2 saturation levels. Once they figured that out and solved it yawns went back to the normal type/levels (liek when I was tired)

turns out I had started to breath shallow all the time. They think it was because a flare caused some chest muscle weakness. I had to do a lot of breathing exercises with that plastic thingy they give you in the hospital (spirometer???)

Don't know if you take an antidepressant or not, but yawn can be a side affect that comes and goes with the meds.
