Default Acthar Gel

Going thru a relapse now. Im steriod intolerant (as my neuro calls it), and I totally agree! He rx Acthar gel. I have had it in my fridge for about a week now, too scared to take it. After a long talk with my dh, we decided that I was scared because of how bad of an allergic reaction I had to copaxone. I was terrified I would have the same reaction to AG. Well, I finally took my first dose of AG last nite. Only thing that hurt a bit was the needle. I was so happy the medicine didnt burn, and no side effects! (at least not yet ) Fear- gone! But boy does that needle look like a dagger! WOOOO!!!

That's great, KittyLady

You may already know:

ACTH was used a very long time ago for exacerbations. ACTH was reformulated and became Acthar Gel.

Yes, as Snoopy says, but a lot more expensive.

I hope you get the best results with it KL..
