Hi all

I have taken the plunge, gotten the meds, put on my 'brave face' and taken the next step. I have been talking about this for a while, and now it is happening.

I took the first pill last night (think you guys call it Ampyra) - I won't lie, I am a bit nervous - I am going on a 12 night cruise at the end of next week, and I am nervous that side effects might be a problem for me, and ruin the holiday I have already paid for. My DH said 'toughen up and just do it' - easy from the cheap seats I reckon - I already take plenty of risks with using Ty and being JC+ - its not like I am being a big baby. I just want a fantastic cruise.

Still, too late now, done is done....I willl see how it goes and hope for the best.

I took Fampridine - AP something for awhile. For me there were no positive results (not expected in my case) but no side effects than a little blood in spit when I brushed my teeth. But that's me.

Hope it helps you, Lynn! I saw good results within a few days, I think.

Think positive! If it works you'll be able to walk better and have better balance on your voyage!

Nothing to share at this point - adverse or otherwise.... has only been a couple of days - stepping up to full dose tomorrow morning.

No news is good news....full steam ahead......
