Bluenurse......definitely call MSactivesourse and let them give you some advice.
Then call Humana and ask that you be notified if they decide to cover the drug. 4 days ago BC/BS told me a definite NO on coverage....then today it was passed. Plus: does Humana not have a form for you to ask for an exception? Usually your doc fills it out and you have an answer from your insurance company within 3 days. BC/BS uses a mail order pharmacy called: Medco. I went on to the Medco sight under my account and did a search for Tecfidera. That's where the very first time I saw it was not covered. But on the same page was a section to print off an "exception form" to be filled out by your doc and submitted back to the company. Doesn't sound right to me that someone would just say, "no, go away" ![]()
