Default EEG and Evoked Potentials Today

Good Afteroon Everyone,

Today is the last day of the testing. I'm relieved but also anxious at the same time. Thank you to those of you that have lended your support. Last night's rant about autoimmune diseases wasn't intended to be offensive, but it was a bit unprofessional so I apologize. I am at my wits end with everything and very, very scared. I have googled things to find out what may be causing my symptoms and it has broken me. Whatever it is, I will have to deal with it. Vision problems with a clean CT scan and 0 optic neuritis means it must be related to a brain issue of some kind. I will be sure to let each of you know what the results are from the testing. I am hoping everything is okay and this is just my MG. Have a blessed day everyone.

Ouch! Dr. Google can be a very bad thing. Use that dr. with extreme caution.

I think we all can relate to the fear and frustration of something not right with our bodies and yet have not answers as well as the waiting game to get answers, if the answer is there. The best advice I can give is to try and relax. Many of us have been where you are right now and can totally understand. Relaxing and remaining calm really helps. The more stressed you are the worse your symptoms will become and then you become more stressed and anxious and then the symptoms will become worse/appear worse and then you get more anxious and the terrible cycle begins. The nice thing is that you are not alone in this and we are here for you.

So I called this morning and asked if they had any cancellations for a follow up on all of my tests. I go to my Neuro tomorrow at 9:50am to review any findings. My girlfriend is coming with me as well. I hope everything is ok.

Good luck tomorrow. I hope it all goes well and I'm glad you are bringing someone with you. That always helps as so much information is given during visits such as the one you are going to have.
