Ok, so I've been having this odd sensation in the back of my shoulder and it has been off and on for months (sometimes there for days then gone then back again for days). The best way I can describe it is that it is like when a chiropractor puts the electrodes on really low. Kind of like that muscle tightening/crawling feeling. Not the 'bugs/worms' crawling sensation but like a slow deliberate flexing of the muscle. Does that make sense?
This is often accompanied by tightness/pain in my neck and a deep burning pain in my upper arm or full arm on the same side. Is this typical of MS? (Though I know nothing is 'typical'.) Guess I am just wondering if it could be related or if others have had the same thing? *Not yet diagnosed... still in limbo of "probable MS". |

I've not had this particular symptom but that's not to say I couldn't! With MS there is no "typical".
The way you describe it it almost sounds like spasticity. I'd certainly let my Neuro know about it. Might be a good idea to keep a symptom journal so you can tell your doctor exactly what symptoms you're having. Hope things get better and you get some answers soon.
