Yes it really was the perfect storm for me too, albeit a little differently. I grew up in a cold climate, I'm of Northern European descent, I had a massive vitamin D deficiency, a 9 month long case of nasty mononucleosis in my late 30s and less than a year before the MS diagnosis, what appeared to be Lyme disease according to the test and I was treated for, and a parent diagnosed with MS a couple months before me.
I always say the stars lined up in the most absolute unfortunate way. Talk about bad luck, although I'm really convinced that the mono (Epstein Barr virus) tripped the switch and set the whole process going. I never had any prior MS symptoms.
