Default B Vitamin Supplement Warning

This was posted in the Vitamin forum but I'm not sure how many members would see it so I wanted to share it here, too. I know many of us take B vitamin supplements. This is scary stuff!

I posted something on this the other day but it didn't "take", and I feel there is another important issue to consider with B complex vitamins. "B50" was the name of a multi-B that an acquaintance took decades ago. It was very high in some of the B's, some being at 50 mg. B6 was at 50 mg, which is high. This woman I'm speaking of got a seizure from this B6, and it was her first seizure. I had also started on this complex, because of her talking about it, and I got a really bad spastic condition after two days on it, and quit it. Then I found she was in the hospital after the seizure.
A doctor told me B6 is a two-edged sword, it helps the nervous system but can affect it badly if it's in too high dose. 50 mg is too high for many people. My multi vitamin has only 8 mg of it, and that is enough for me and for most people.
