I am fine with milk and with wheat. I follow the Swank diet and skim milk and grains are important on that diet, unless one is actually allergic or sensitive to these products. I think skim milk is an important part of low fat protein, and it is also low salt. But I don't overdo it. I felt terrible, in really great pain, when I tried to cut out gluten grains. I actually needed these grains for fiber, I think. There is no reason to cut these things out unless you really have a sensitivity to them. I do not. I have MANY sensitivities, so it's good I can eat some things like this without a problem.

My wife tells me everything she reads, scientific literature says "do not eat dairy." I ate ice cream last week and I was fine.

Scientific literature also used to say that "the earth is flat" .
I'd listen to your body on the dairy...and especially to your stomach when it comes to ice cream (It would be a shame to give up such a Yummy treat for no reason). With love, Erika |
