Chris -- Is that why you're so interested in horses? Saratoga? When I was married, my ex was in the Coast Guard so we lived in Watertown and then Oswego, a different area. I USED to love horses too, rode both English and Western. Of course that was in my former life!! Am half afraid of watching the Preakness tomorrow, remembering Barbaro.

But today I've experienced some FREEDOM for the first time in over a year being housebound. The ramp I had built into my garage from the house is finished and I can get outside with my power chair!!! YES!!! My car is sitting in the driveway but being I don't use it, who cares!?! Imagine getting so excited about going outside -- I'm so thankful for small victories!

Hugs to all of you, my friends........

OMG. I'm so excited for you, Judy. I'm jealous...I need to do just what you did. I think I'll need a lift, rather than a ramp though?? I'm working on it.

It would be so nice to get out and see the neighbors again and maybe plant a flower or two in my weedbed.

Congrats Hon...that's great.

I can't remember a time when I wasn't interested in horses. Saratoga is a racing town, and I've never been involved with race horses here. It was when I lived in PA in the 70s and 80s that I worked with them, breaking babies and riding work on two and three year olds.

Congrats on your ramp! I remember when I got mine. It changed my life.

Chris
