Default Legs and arms feel weak like jelly, possible ms?

Hi I'm 32 and for the last month I have been experiencing weak/ jelly like feeling in my legs and now arms. It's a constant weak feeling no pain, and even shaving my legs and apply cream feels "different" than usual. I am still able to walk upstairs, run etc and my bloodwork came back normal. No change in my eye sight, I thought i was getting a uti last week because i was urinating more frequently but it only lasted a day or two and then back to normal. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I'd get checked for a UTI by your doc...any neuro will have you do that before you are seen....if you do have MS, any infection will ratchet up any symptoms.

You could see your regular doc to see if you need a neuro consultation...keep a record of symptoms and dates of onset and dissipation.

Keep us up to date...and welcome! Lots of info here. Many of us took years before we were diagnosed with MS. It's a process of elimination.

Thank you Debbie I will have get checked for a uti. I should mention also that my identical twin sister was complaining about weakness is her legs last winter and now I'm experiencing the same symptoms 6 months later. Both my legs and my arms feel equally weak, both sides the same. Is this a common symptom seen in ms or is is usually one limb or side weaker the other?

Welcome Jenn. Have you and or your twin seen a Neurologist about
these symptoms? Yes, do get that UTI taken care of, ASAP.

Let us know what your Doc says and try to stay as calm as you can.

Hi Jenn.

I have MS and have had jelly legs many of times. Doesn't mean that you have MS at all. It is a long process to get diagnosed and it might be something simple like low blood sugar.

Keep an open mind and let us know what your doc says.

welcome to NT jenn,
have you seen a neuro dr? that should be a priority.
it's just so hard to say anything about your sx's (symptoms) because we're not drs and it takes a lot of work to dx (diagnose) MS.

Thanks guys, I haven't seen an neurologist yet, just a visit to my family doc for blood tests is as far as I've gone so far. My symptoms are nowhere near crippling and i can still do everyday tasks. Its a mild feeling of a tingly weakness in my limbs which is more of an annoyance than anything. So I just wanted to make sure it was a possibility before proceeding further.

your sx's could be several things. it's good your pcp has seen you.
you might consider keeping a sx journal with dates and notes about your sx's.
your dr(s) may find it helpful.

please keep us posted.
