Posted this on the PD forum, and here just for interest. She recently announced she has Parkinson's Disease. http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment...ays-cant-sing/
This just this moment occurred to me...I started to put a frownie() in the post on the PD forum, but it felt weird, wrong, like maybe PD patients wouldn't want to see it or would take offense. Odd thought. We often frown at each others' setbacks, or when a newbie joins us, but stepping into the forum of another disease a frown didn't feel right.

Yeah
Heard this on the news in Oz tonight. What a shame. I grew up listening to her music in my teenage years through my older sister. Then she did a fantastic song with Aaron Neville which was huge in the charts here when I was about 21 y/o. Goes to show, these lousy diseases don't discriminate.
