Default New Diagnosis

Hey all. Found out today that my doctor told me that I do NOT have MS. The MRIs and blood work showed I didn't have it. However, although my MRIs were fine, the blood work suggested something else. She said either Lyme Disease or Cortodosis. Now I have to get with my primary doctor to see about seeing a rhuemotologist.

I don't either. I tried looking it up and Google asked if I meant cortosis. I know that can't be it because stuff about Wookies kept appearing!

Sarcoidosis is right. Didn't know how to spell it.

So what a simple definition of Lyme's Disease and Sarcoidosis??

Lyme disease is usually caused by ticks if I remember right.

The sarcoidosis definition here seems less complicated:
http://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/heal...s/topics/sarc/

With autoimmune diseases there is no easy definition. The symptoms and patient reaction vary from person to person. Some people have to wait years before a diagnosis. Good luck.

Well, on the one hand, glad it's not MS, yet, neither of those other two sound much fun, either. Hoping you are on a path to getting relief for everything. Hope you stay in touch, even without MS.
