I take anywhere from 2,000-6,000 a day. I get my Vitamin D tested every 6 months and adjust accordingly to stay between 60-80.

Thanks for the info Erika. I take 2,000 IU per day of vitamin D gel caps. What does the vitamin D level look like on a blood test? I get CBC, metabolic, creatine and lipid tests every six months and I can't tell if they tested for vitamin D by what it says.

Vit D and B12 do not appear on CBC testing. They are done separately and have to be ordered separately.
The CBC is a blood count of cells present.

I got tested for B12 and D today, will have results in a week or two. The doctor had to work to get it covered by insurance but I got the test.

My B12 levels are pretty low and I need to start getting B12 shots weekly, then monthly after that!! I also have high thyroid levels and need to take a pill to lower that!! Both can affect my fatigue levels!
