That's a good plan. Sometimes the generalists, and sadly, even some specialists will discount what patients tell them is happening unless the lab data backs it up.
I for one, wish that medical practitioners who are like that would stop seeing people as collections of data.

With love, Erika

Cristobelle,

I am sorry that this happened to you. It has happened to many of us. Hey, maybe you do not have anything- that would be great- but your body is telling you different.

Whoever you see next should follow up 6 months later to see you "over time."

So sorry for your treatment.

Hey christobelle- get your mri on cd & study it yourself. You'll figure out what you're looking at trust me.

i think that is very wise. a 2nd opinion plus the specialist.
get copies of your test results and start keeping a medical file on yourself.
it will come in handy. i've learned a lot from reading my own records and have even had to correct my drs who included incorrect information. who knew?

Hi christobelle,

Have you had your appointment to discuss the MRI results?

The neurologist who was oh so helpful when he saw me a few weeks ago in the midst of my arm muscles operating independently of my direction, and who was oh so sure that the MRI would show something up, today, when it came back clear, essentially told me that there was nothing he could do and he couldn't give me anything or offer any help whatsoever and was I sure it wasn't in my head.

That's ok Snoopy. Yes, question answered.

Now just waiting to hear back from the other specialist with an appointment time.

Ridiculously at least my physical symptoms reassure me that I am not going insane lol. And people that witness them too. Stupid hey?
