Bless her. I hope she will be able to continue that great feat.

I saw this posted by someone from a MS site on FB the other day. There were so many negative comments on there I was appalled!! How could there be so many "negative nancy's" (nothing personal against anyone named nancy!!) out there? I don't understand. My whole theory is to do what you can while you can. She had her whole team, coach and most importantly her whole family supporting her! How many can say that they have that much support? I say great going for her! She is the inspiration that so many of us, especially newbies, need! So many newbies think an MS dx means a death sentence, well, here you go guys, its definitely NOT! I can totally understand her leg thing. I get it too. The whole numbness but can feel this but not that. I thank God for special people like her. After 21yrs of this for me, she can give ME hope and courage to keep fighting and go on!

I am very happy for her and liked the local story that got picked up nationally (she is from my region). The only drawback for MSers around here is that now a lot of people say "Well why can't you go to WalMart/shopping/beach/festival} - that young girl on TV runs marathons"

ugh...sort of like hearing "but you look so good"
