I agree that this place is slow but I also agree that there is so much to read.

I also think that since the weather has turned for the better (finally) that I am not online as much as I was all winter when there was nothing else to do.

Doydie,

I was also hoping more would stay here. Personally, I find NT much better than BT:)

Sally ~ I did the same thing. I have always checked this forum but because it was so very slow I would go days and sometime weeks before I would check again.

You guys just don't give up. Keep coming back. I got so slow here for awhile that I quit coming too, but I'm back for good now.:D

What post at Healthtalk are y'all talking about? I've never been there.

Oh, Sal, over in the CP board here, someone put up a thread about being banned there so I thought it would be fun to see how quickly I could get banned. I just wanted to be cool.

I thought I could do it in two posts, but I blew it, the thing ended up taking three.:o You can see what I did at the CP board here.

AMN...

LOL, that was fun, but it did take three posts, I was so ashamed!

Where you be from in MI?? I was raised in the SE but evacuated here to the west coast (Lake MI, that is).
Fear not, I am no Spartan. Almost became a Wolverine, but a scholarship elsewhere saved me from that crazy ride.

From Farmington Hills Michigan. We are big Wolverine fans even though hubby went to Central.

We got married up in Bay Harbor MI at the Bay Harbor Inn. Petoksey and Harbor Springs are one of my most fave places in the world. :D

How fun! I went to Andover, class of '80 and we used to kick your sorry butts all over the county! ;)

I know Bay Harbor, it used to be a beautiful, wide open shoreline. Up the penninsula a bit, there's a great tavern under the Bower's Harbor Inn, it's the Bowery and they have the best ribs in the state!

Too Funny. I've never been there and probably won't bother, now.:holysheep:

I think I am going to be much more comfortable staying here than at, um, some other forum. Don't want to live in fear of slipping up and having ten tons of bricks fall on my head. Not good for the psyche!

Slow moving isn't always a bad thing- especially if you are slow moving,
like I am :D

i know I have felt a tad intimidated by folks on boards with thousands of
posts to their credit. i just don't have the time or the modem to handle
that sort of traffic:o . The day has only so many good hours, and I have
to parcel them out oh so carefully. But I do intend to spend at least a few
of them here. ttfn.
