Default Good and bad news

I have really bad SPMS and have been in a nursing home almost three years. My legs and right arm and hand don't work. My Dr. here at the nursing home had some blood work done. I got the results and I am really healthy except for my MS. That is good but that also sucks. I am only 50.

Welcome David. Glad to meet you.

Poop, that is not what you want, I am sure. Glad you came here to add your voice.

Good on the blood work. No one needs another problem.

See you around the board.

Welcome back David. So sorry for your situation, but glad you are
otherwise healthy. That's a good thing. Happy to have you back
here and hope we may be of support for each other.

David, welcome back. Given your experience with MS, your input on this forum is invaluable. Stick around and share with us your wisdom.

How is it where you live? Is it mostly older people, or are there folks closer to your own age that you can hang out with? Is the staff easy to get along with, or are they less than uplifting? What sorts of "enrichment" activities do they have? Is there a feeling of community, or is it mostly everyone for him or herself?

I look forward to your participation.

Welcome back, David!

I'm so sorry to hear about you being in a nursing facility. I just turned 50 and can't imagine being in that situation. I really feel for you. I am glad that you are otherwise healthy. That is a good thing. Hang in there and stick around as your input is valuable to many.
