Default Life saving iron supplement

I have been iron deficient for several years and highly fatigued (hair falls out too and heart beat is rapid). I tried supplements but they made me constipated. I tried iron in water from a European spring which chewed up my stomach with nausea. I tried Floradix which didn't constipate me but it was slow going in terms of raising iron stores -- it also stained my teeth.

Then a friend of mine got a prescription from her doctor called Integra Plus. I asked my doctor for it. It's amazing!!!! Within 3 weeks I am feeling like a million dollars. My brain seems to be working better (clearer and sharper) and my energy is much greater. I feel less depressed.

But the best part is that it causes no constipation or stomach aches or nausea. Yeah! . I'm chronically constipated so this is a miracle. You take it in the afternoon between meals. It also contains B vitamins and folic acid and Vitamin C. It only costs $10 on my prescription plan. It's not over the counter.

For any of you who are iron deficient, you have to try this drug! I can't wait to see how I feel 2 months out and even longer. It could change your life if you haven't been able to tolerate iron supplements.

Good luck!

I'm bringing this up to the top of the list again. I'm here to promote this supplement Integra Plus (it is prescribed -- my insurance makes it a $10 co-pay) for iron deficiency.

I just got my ferritin results back after 3 months of taking it. I'm at 81!

That's the highest I've ever been. No more anemia! My brain is much clearer/sharper, I'm no longer winded going up stairs, and I'm not falling asleep all the time.

This drug is AMAZING.

That is so wonderful for you.. You make me want to take it, but I have,
in the back of my mind, that too much iron is really bad for you. I took
extra iron in my M cycle days, because I had such a heavy flow each
month.

Don't they actually say that your iron needs are lower, as you age?

Confused

I don't know about needing less iron as you age, Sally. ??

I know women in their 60s can still be iron deficient.

All I know is I felt so crappy with low iron and now I feel great!

Thanks for Integra Plus tip. I'll be requesting a script asap cause my RBC is always near low end of range which is the worst thing a person who wants to build muscle can face!

Nat- besides energy, how are your muscles & tendons doing since starting Integra? Many don't know how important a good RBC is. Body builders do.

EddieF, I'm not sure about my muscles and tendons. I will be joining the gym soon and hope I have more stamina. I will start lifting weights again. This drug/supplement is from heaven. I can already tell the heat this summer isn't bothering me as much as last summer. Perhaps some of my fatigue was iron deficiency!
