The two granddaughters came in from NC to visit with Mom and DM said today that Mom is sleeping a lot more. DM believes that Mom has found her peace. Mom will remain at the same facility and move into their hospice care unit soon.

Thank you Cindy,
My thoughts and prayers continue to be with Diasy Mae and her family in this trying time. May God bless and hold them all.

All the best,
Chris

Thanks for the update Cindy.

DM, you, your Mom and family are in my prayers. I know how hard this is. My Mom was my pal too, and my sister's. We loved our lunches together and shopping. She always had a big hug, kisses and told us how much she loved us.

Okay, all. DM just called and Mom is now in hospice care and is gradually shutting down. DM is a real trooper and is leaning hard on her faith. It is especially difficult because of the timing re: DM's birthday, but what greater gift than to know that Mom will suffer no more?

She will be camping at the hospital with Mom full time now and will need our prayers more than ever.

Oh Cindy, words are just not enough here. Hugs and prayers to our DM and her family. Mom will be taken care of. DM has a great circle of friends who will always be here to help and love her. I'm babbling....

I'm so so sorry DM, there are no words.

My prayers and love are with you and your Mom and family. May you find the strength to get through this and acceptance for His will.

My Dear Daisy Mae,
My thoughts and prayers continue to be with you and your family. May you Mum leave this earth with as little pain as possible, and all the love that you and your lovely family have graced her with.

God Bless you all!

All the best,
Chris

I just spoke with DM and Mom is now on the steady morphine drip. Her pain had increased to an unbearable level and she had a 102° fever they could not kick. She is resting peacefully and breathing regularly. She was able to acknowledge her son today but drifted to sleep quickly.

DM's voice now issues a peace I have not heard since this all began. "My heart hurts... it just hurts too much to think about this," she said.

Mom will remain on the drip until God calls her soul and takes her home. Please help me pray for our friend, she is in a very vulnerable way just now.
