Sally, could it be a viral thing causing the sudden-onset achiness?

Tylenol is easy on the stomach. If you take Aleve or Advil, just take it with food and/or lots of water.

You can take Tylenol and an NSAID at the same time because they are different medications. I often resort to that, and the combination really relieves my achiness for a few hours.

Mine hasn't been bad for all 15 years--it started out with weeks-long episodes followed by long "remissions". It's only in the last few years that I've had to take ever-more painkillers (OTC).

Take care & I hope you find some relief that works for you!

Nancy T.

I hate vicoden too, so I'm not a pusher (of that). Sorry you're suffering, it's just no good.

I can't do the tub thingy, unless have a strong cabana boy to fish me out.:p But You have reminded me how good it feels to sit in the shower and let the warm water hit, splash and roll down my back, for about 10 or 20 minutes.

Thanks.;)

Oh dear Sally,
BLOODY HELL! If it's not one thing, it's another. You have really had a bad month, haven't you? I was reading some of the responses and was thinking that perhaps it is some kind of arthritis because it occurs with weather changes. Did you speak with your physician today?

If not, I would suggest the Aleve and Tylenol combination until you hear from him or her. The Aleve is an anti-inflammatory, and the Tylenol just an analgesic. I hope you begin feeling better soon, and if you can, send some rain this way.

We're having terrible fires and haven't had a tad of rain here for weeks. The fires are causing our air levels to be terribly polluted and people with lung conditions are basically confined indoors with the windows closed.

Here's a hug from me to you to hope this is something short lived.

All the best,
Chris

Thanks Chris...Hugs Back.

OK, I called the Doc today and he upped my Prozac, actually doubled it. We shall see the wisdom of this, sooooon, I hope.

I called my Friendly Pharmacist and asked if sore achy muscles is a side effect of Prozac. He said no, not usually, but asked me if I was on any cholestral drugs. I said no and he said that they have an achey breaky side effect. Hmmmmmmm.

Anyways, he said that if I were in a funk and needed an increase in my AD that, that could be the achey muscles thingy...Like Mind and body working hand in hand.

Soooooo, I says to myself..."Self", if the double your prozac, you double your pleasure and achey muscles go away..Yes?

I'll let you know..:D

A bit better, Cindi. Thanks for asking.:)

I am taking a small amount of Asprin, as needed and it is helping. I'm sleeping better and I'm not as "in a funk", as I was. Just, warn out!

I think it must be nap time...Yawnnnnnn. See ya.:p

Glad you're feeling better Sally. Give the increase in your AD a few more days.

All the best,
Chris
