Would it help you to know that the kids in my neighborhood call me "the crazy lady"? I take it as a compliment since it includes, "lady".

The fish is puffing up! It must be the way the morning light hits the tank, he's very angry at his own reflection for about half an hour in the morning. He puffs up his whole body, and I've discovered that he has some kind of "beard" thingy that looks like a fanned turkey tail. Very interesting, indeed.

Can't take you two anywhere!

Oh, how cute. I thought maybe he might be lonesome, but it seems he prefers to be alone..LOL!

I puff up like that too, when someone pounds on the door or calls on the phone, when I'm napping.

Sorry to report the late cold snap put an end to many of the green beans....and the ones that did make it have been midnight snaks for many deer.....but have no fear...I have replanted and have many new baby GB on the way up.........

Picked a 5 gallon bucket of zucinni and yellow squash today, 2 cucumbers....enough letuce for our family reunion (making wilted letuce)
and tons of green onions.......we have 16 tomatoe plants and so many green maters.....i guess i will be making salsa this year lol....

But about the great fishy...isnt it cool when he does the puffin up fan tail thing?????

It is! He seems to get the best reflection at mid-morning and he really gets going for awhile. He was swimming laps this morning, I think he's trying to get buff for his next bout with his reflection.
