I have noticed the same thing. I wear prescription glasses to see far away and drugstore readers (250+) for close up/reading.

I have noticed that, at times, the readers are not strong enough. Maybe it's just my eyes getting weaker. I need to go to the eye doctor because I keep getting reminders in my email that I'm past due.

I think my issues are just age related.
