Default Neuro app't today

Had my 6 month check up today. She usually has yearly but since I had some issues last time, she did a six month. She did order a sleep study for me. I mentioned that my faitgue does seem to be worse. The midwest is having this terrible heat wave, I am dreaming very vivid dreams all night, bladder infection, all these could be adding to the fatigue. So the sleep study center is going to call me and schedule it. My only experience of one is when I took my Mom for hers about 5 years ago and then pick her up the next morning. I know I will be hooked up to everything. Any advice or further descriptions?

Oh, she also scheduled me for my 2 year MRI check. She says that she went to a nuero conference and a lot of neuros are not doing this. Her routine is every 2 years. I have that ever since 1997.

Mine started with the planting of the electrode thingies in my head. Like an extended EEG. They put this goop on your scalp to get a better signal through the wires hanging off your head. It's a *itch to get out of your hair too. I had the wires attached to a metal box that I had to sleep next to.

I was put in a badly decorated motel room. Put my jammies on and slept as best I could, in a strange place, with wires stuck all over my head. I was really tired when I got up and was glad to have it done with.

Good luck with yours. I hope they find something that they can help you with. Keep us posted.
