Default New drug being devised by Tysabri creator

A nee drug is being created by Tysabri creator Lawrence Steinman. He reported in two studies in Science, the US's top science journal, that Alzheimers amyloid, given systemically to paralyzed MS model mice, had them walking as long as it was adminstered. He has designed a drug based on the anti-inflammatory properties of amyloid. A third paper on this topic should come out this year.

For an article on all of this, go to Bioscience Technology article called "Does Amyloid Kill in alzheimers, heal in MS?"
