Default O/T Picture of a baby elephant being born

Hello you lot,
I just got home and received this in the mail from a family member. It's rather fascinating. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. No wonder elephants have such horrific memories. This really looks like some major PAIN!

Oh thanks. That was interesting. I am glad that I am not an elephant.

That was incredible. They must be thrilled that they got that tape! I was terrified that the baby would get mashed by one of those massive feet. How interesting that it's an event for the whole neighborhood.

I have to admit though, I seriously wanted to grab the camera and steady the shot.

Oh, but it was SO much better camera work than some of the shots I've seen done in some of the births I've attended. We have a saying in L&D. "The larger the man, the harder they fall."

Cute little fella, wasn't he?

Wow Chris, that was super neat...Thanks. She did it standing up and still standing after she gave birth..

I like it, that the whole fan damily was there, or were those the elephant midwives, Chris. You would know such things..right?

Cool!!!

That was amazing. It was neat to see how the other elephants supported her and helped with the baby.
