Default MS news

http://www.cleveland19.com/story/298...-in-on-ms-cure

I have no idea if it will lead to any significant progress.

I have a tube in my desk of the antifungal that's named in the second article. (it was for some weird skin condition on the backs of my ears and my neck, which I guess is an off-label use for it, because it's actually intended for another area) of the body.

If it's a cure, someone, quick! Tell me how to use it!

My only problem is non-MS people see only the headline and think curing MS is a done deal. Statins and other stuff fell through for me.

Call me skeptical, or practical? There has been a lot of claims made about a lot of things? Some real results would be nice?

I know. These hope producing headlines come along and then.....nothing. Some positive results reported would be appreciated.

Wink No money in a cure...

Call me jaded, but I believe they will keep finding drugs that "help" but not a cure. Research which shows promise gets more funding, drugs which help us get refills and drug companies get profits. But as Little Orphan Annie sang, "the sun will come out tomorrow, so ya gotta hang on for tomorrow." Hang in there fellow MSers there will be drugs that will come that will make our lives better even if it doesn't cure us.

How many times do we read lines and lines of good news only to see "in mice" at the end? I think from now on, I'm just going to search the page for "mice" and "mouse" before I read the whole thing.
