Default Need opinion

I have just started seeing a neurologist ....again...I have been dealing with these issues for a over a year. my gp doesn't do much in the way of diagnosing anything...started off as bad horrible headaches that last at the minimum 6 days with a day off in between. nothing touches them just got to ride them out. sent to first neurologist. put me on fieurocet as needed. didn't work. no scans done. started getting strange shoulder pain/cramping in right shoulder that eventually moved to left shoulder and it is still there a year later. took four visits to doc for him to validate that there was something wrong. bottom lip started to go numb. started to also get vibrations in hand and feet at this time that feels like a cell phone going off on vibrate.that was last spring...this is still occurring worse now in the feet than hands. the numb lip has turned into a lovely drool out of the left side of my mouth that hits at any given time. and my left eye twitches something horrible. I am starting to stumble over words. I have looked at words on paper and have been unable to tell you what they are. my vision is horrible. I have tracking problems and occasional double vision. im horribly tired. my vit d level was 5 a year ago and is now a 12. my blood pressure is low and ive lost 30 lbs in the last 3 months. my muscles ache all of the time like I have the flu aches. im had a neuro exam with a second neurologist last week and he immediately set me up with a brain scan and said first thing he was checking for was ms. when he has me stand still with my eyes closed I guess I was weaving all over ( my mom was with me) he didn't like that. not sure why. im tired all the time as I don't sleep and when I do I wake up feeling as if id been beat by a board in my sleep. my intestinal system is out of wack. I have no appetite. everyone thinks im nuts my im truly scared there is something wrong. I can feel it. my question is have any of you lovely people had any of these symptoms. and did I mention the fatigue. dome days I can hardly keep my eyes open. any help would be appreciated. thank you.

MS shares a lot of symptoms with a bunch of other neurological diseases. I am glad your second neurologist is having you do a brain scan.

dear tvincelet,

it sounds like you're going thru a lot. i'm glad your mom is there to help support you. diagnosing MS is a process of elimination of some other illnesses that can mimic MS. it's called the McDonald Criteria. you can look it up.

i'm also glad you have a 2nd neuro that is willing to check out your brain. is he doing an MRI? you can also see a neuro (or regular) opthamologist to check out your vision problems. they also can, and do, order MRI's.

keep strongly requesting that your drs do everything possible to find out what is wrong. i can't say if you have MS but you have enuf significant sx's (symptoms) that demand a serious PE (physical exam).

please let us know how you are. and can i request that you break long narratives into smaller sentences. it's sometimes difficult for us to read such a long text. thanks.
