This is burning pain, not the tinglies and prickles that I have had before. Last night laying in bed, my feet were also buzzing so bad I kept looking at them wondering what was going on (like I was going to see something )

I do know what your experiencing, that's part of what my exacerbation are like. Have you ever tried Baclofen? When my legs and feet get like that the Baclofen was a life saver for me.....of course your doctor may have a better idea.

The buzzing/vibrations are sensory....fun aren't they....NOT.

I'm betting the amount of time you were out in the heat had alot to do with it.....heat can trigger a full blown exacerbation in many of us.

Do you know if this will affect your participation in the Tovaxin Trial?

Not sure if you care for hugs but too bad
I added a few just to see if I could tick you off

Hello Cindy,
We just returned from the home we are building and found a mess of things over there. Wrong tiles placed in the wrong restroom, cabinets placed incorrectly; just a bloody mess!

It's hotter than hades here, and we're just sitting down to a lovely lunch only to watch the awful news across the pond where most of my family resides. I've spoken to them all, and all are safe, but this is just terrifying.

Anyway, I hope that whatever you decide to do this weekend, you have fun whilst doing it!

Here's the latest article on what is happening over in the UK.

http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/europe...ert/index.html

All my best to everyone this holiday weekend,
Chris

Wow, Chris, that is just horrible. I am so sorry that you have to worry about your loved ones, in this way. I pray this will stop and there will be no further attacks.

I wonder what may be in store for the USA during the 4th celebration? A perfect time for Terrorists to do their dirty work. The Prez doesn't seem to be worried, which, knowing his track record, scares me even more.

I hope all have a safe 4th...stay home!!!

Default Hi Everyone

I am hanging in here. I saw my primary care Dr. on Wednesday and he confirmed I am in congestive heart failure and increased my Lasix. I have an appointment with a Cardiovascular Dr. next month.

He also diagnosed me with chronic fatigue syndrome as it goes along with my EBV diagnosis....which 45% of all MS patients also have EBV. He gave me a B-12 shot and suggested I start taking 1000mgs of Lysine each day....he has EBV and it helps him.

Also, discovered some liver spots under my belly. Never had any before. For years now Drs have been trying to find liver disease because of symptoms and enlargement of liver. They still think I have billiary disease...but it is not showing up in lab work.

He also said both my eyes were weeping pus but I had appointment with eye Dr on Fri. for eye exam.

I saw the eye Dr on Frid and he could not do eye exam because of staph infection in both eyes so he gave me steriod/antibiotics drops and I go back Wed.

And, my sluggish MS colon is not playing nice!

Getting settled into new apartment and resting.

Chris, I pray you family stays safe.

Margie

Hi Everyone! Haven't checked in here in quite awhile. Must be one of my new meds, but the fatigue has been awful. Every time I get on here, or sit down to read, watch TV, etc., I end up falling asleep.

Yesterday was pretty good though. The weather was great, if not windy. Cooler with no humidity but the sun was shining. Also my son was here to stain my deck. It was nice for a change just to have him all to myself without all the little ones running around seeking attention -- not that I don't love them to pieces!

What a difference a day makes. Today has been simply terrible. It looks like it could rain at any minute, but so far hasn't -- the grass is as brown as ever. My pain level is through the roof and nothing seems to help. The builder was here last week to widen my bathroom door so now I can get in with my powerchair, so am going to take a nice warm shower before bed. Maybe that will help......PLEASE!!!

See you all later! Take care.

Margie! Holy cow! how much excitement does one girl need!?! I feel for ya, girl, that is one horrendous list. Hang in there and let us know how you're doing whenever you're up to it, okay?

Judy, yippee on the new doorway! One more way to make your life better; enjoy that shower and your comfortable, safe exit from the bathroom.

Hi All! Sorry I did not post earlier. You may have read my other posts but I had a good day today! I have a friend named Lee-anne. We are in a 12 step programme together and I am her sponser. She has had a hard time with the programme but this year, in Jan. she approached me and asked if I would sponser her. I was not sure if I should or rather if I could help her...she had a few other sponsers and the had no luck. I decided to say yes and started to help her. We had a bumpy road for a while but she and I must have clicked. She has been sober for 8 months. That is a miracle for this young lady! During this time she discovered she ws expecting a baby. We had discussed having this baby in sobriety and how truly wonderful that would be. She has put forth a tremendous amount of genuine effort to make the neccessary changes in her life. She has not went near a drug or booze at all. She appears to have lost the desire to drink and appears to have gained interest in having a good, sober and stable life. The change in this girl is dramatic and I am just so proud of her. A while ago lee-anne asked me to be the Godmother of her child and requested that I be present for the birth of her baby. She also asked me to cut the cord!!! Today, she delivered a 5lb 15oz baby boy!!! His name is Brice... He is beautiful, and I cut the umbillical cord!!! Childbirth is amazing! Even though things have been tough lately, my mood is cheerful because today I am!!!!

Margie -
Sounds like you had an awful week. I hope you take care of yourself. Sounds like all the docs have a plan, that's good. Keep your chin up and remember we are here anytime.

Judy -
Wish the fatigue and pain will ease up for you. Pain does have away of dragging down a day. How exciting, your doorway sounds like a dream. I hope your shower and a good nights sleep bring you a better day tomorrow.

Judy -
Congrats on the new baby, Bruce. Sounds like you are doing a wonderful job as sponsor to LeeAnn. You should pat yourself on the back and enjoy the corner that has been turned. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Cindy,

Well, I still feel like crud. These eye drops burn and I have to do it 4 times per day. I was just researching "eyes weeping pus" and found that herpes simplex virus can cause this also. I have Epstein Barr Virus which is in the family of herpes simplex. If this is the case, I am getting the wrong treatment. so if my eyes aren't better, will bring it up with eye Dr on Wed.
