Good mornin all Rainy day here, but feeling good after all the sleep! Today tho is a good nap day!

Cindy, I understand , not what I used to be either. Hauling this carcass is not what I expected, ever. The old me is gone, may she rest in peace.

On a cheerful note, woke up, alive, can see and move, what more can a person ask for .

Have a wonderful day everyone!!!!!!!!!!

Geez, I go to sleep for a couple days and everyone disappears!

I am still paying for my fun day, mostly taking it easy and perfecting my vertical napping technique. The tricky part is not falling out of the chair.

The weather in MI is right tolerable, a little warmer than I'd like, but pretty good.

I'm really, really tired.

Tomorrow I'll be off to Greenfiled Village to soak up a little living history with some friends from CA. I'll spend the night over there, no way can I do the 2.5hr. drive after a full day of goofing around. I just hope I can gather a little energy between now and 6:00am when I have to head over there!

Is anyone still here?

*tapping on monitor*

Hellloooo?

I took a couple of days off. Honestly and truly. Went away without my computer. Taffy, see I can do it. I am home for overnight and then back out for til Friday.

I think Idaho a burning up, literally. There are fires everywhere and smoke is horrible. The planes are flying all the time and it is getting worse. I think this the worst fire season we have had in years.

We sat on the lake in the boat yesterday and could count 4 fires in the mountains around us. Those were just the ones we could see. It's awful. Those firefighters and smokejumpers are getting worn thin. There is a huge smoke jumpers base at the airport where we are staying, and the staging area is full of planes, helicopters and tents and gear and every thing imaginable. The town is full of fire fighters and rigs and vehicles from all over the country. It's amazing how these groups pull together to help each other.

And it's only July.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot - Taffy we had fun with peeps. The girls from Salt Lake brought me a whole bag of peeps stuff and we had fun throwing peeps out for the fish. Squaw fish love peeps! I am not kidding. You tear 'em up in to little pieces and those stupid squaw fish will hit 'em and eat 'em! Better than wasting bait! Squaw fish aren't good for eating but they sure are fun to taunt with peeps! They especially like the purple ones! LOL!

No, I wish. I just earned $30 towards $110 entry fee to Regional tournament winner of that goes to a national tournament. Still it is the first time I've won an event.

I've earned trickle down money, from those that couldn't play in regionals, to pay part/all of the fees in the past. I played in 5 regional events in a row, they are held 4 times a year. Last one I worked since I had been sick with this MS and didn't play in any qualifiers.

I appreciate your interest. I still smile when I think of my accomplishment. Yea me. (patting my self on the back ... again)

Cindy how was Greenfield village? I haven't been there in years although it's only a 45 min drive from me. I'll have to check it out one of these days, what's it cost these days?

I probably won't be around all that much the next week or so.

(A hush goes over the crowd. Applause and high fives are shared all around.)

All right knock it off! Jokers!

My baby is coming home for a visit!

I said Son, during your time here what would you like to do?
Go to the Beach he said. (pause)

The Beach? Yep, the beach.

Now, you are all thinking you live in Western Washington, take the poor kid to the beach.

FG have you gotten up from the floor yet? (she knows where he lives)

You see, Son lives in Hawaii. He goes to the beach all the time. Nice, warm, beaches.

But no-o-o, he wants to go to the Arctic beaches of Washington, visit the little fishing town, breath in the salty, maggot infested air and do a little crabbing.

I think we will run him up to the mountain too!

I am sure the stories will start. The time I locked the keys in the car. The time the truck got stuck in the sand. How about the time his brother left his clothes at home.

Maybe going to the beach isn't a bad idea after all.
