I'm still kinda happy though 'cause my SSon is Home.:)

I'm more than upset about the Bridge Collapse in Minn., too.:(

And the World keeps turning.

Sally so glad you are happy as am I that SSon (aka grizzly adams) is home. :Dancing-Chilli: I hope you find answers to some of your pending questions.

What happened in Minnesota is such a horrible tragedy. And so scary that there are many bridges and other necessary infastructures, in this country, are at the end of there lifespan. We (Americans) all should bombard our political leaders to take the lead and finance a mandatory rebuilding effort. Or that may be the first of a long line of needless deaths.

Wow, just really bummed myself out. I apologize for that outburst. I will try and control myself better...not. As popeye says I am what I am.

Hi, everyone, even you, my pensive bleeding heart!

I slept almost all day! Not my fault, my new phone kept me up til 3:00am and then it woke me up at 5:30 to see my sister off on her way home from a week here. Okay, yeah, I made her a cup of strong coffee, put the kids in plastic bags, and shoved them all out the door; whatever!

It's so quiet here, my dad can hear me drop! Ah, peace in the valley.

I've noticed some of our posse is conspicuously absent. I hope everyone is okay! DM is off in the municipal wilderness ("camping") and Chris is on hiatus for healing, but I'm clueless about what Flygirl is up to.

Oh, for anyone following KimmyDawn's new grandbaby, he is here! And it is well! Thank God. Do go check out her prayer thread in the sanctuary, it's practically a miracle.:grouphug:

Thanks for telling us about KD's new Grandson. I know how worried she was about the pending birth...so happy that all turned out well and Baby and Mom are fine.

How is your new toy working foryou, Cindy? Is it doing what you command or does it have a mind of it's own?:D

I'm a wittle under par today. Damn Sinus headache, damn weather, damn heat.....UGH!!!!! OK, I'm done.....for now..:D

How are you all doing today, my fiesty little fiends.. errr.. friends.

AfterMyNap 08-04-2007 02:44 PM

Bummer, Sal. You must rest up, tomorrow is grandkids day, and you need to be full of your usual vim and vigor... and valium...

The new toy is actually quite excellent, thank you. It has many amusing attributes that I will never likely employ, but alas, it makes me think that I'm cool, so it has its medicinal value.

Today, I was dinking around with it, trying to figure something out, when it began ringing. "Oh, man, now what did I do?"... uh... duh... it was a call coming in. LOL, I felt extra stupid for a nano-second.

It was FG and she's fine, just super busy and her steroids have kicked in, so hopefully, she is well on her way to snapping out of this exacerbation.

tovaxin_lab_rat 08-04-2007 03:02 PM

Hey Cindy! Thanks for the kick in the bee-hind! I've been MIA for a few days, although I didn't post a few times on another thread helping Bethanylynn with some accurate information about Tysabri and backing up Cherie (whodathunkthat! LOL! :D ).

You know how life just gets in the way sometimes and, well...that's just sort of what's been happening to me lately. I've been prioritizing and work is my priority right now ---> wonder if I have that backwards! But I have to focus on something that I enjoy and that's what I enjoy ;)

Steroids did kick in and I am feeling much better. The LP did confirm that I was having an MS exacerbation as my myelin basic protein was sky high!

Anyway, on the road back from MS you-know-where, but at least I am able to work again. We did a great landscape job yesterday. My crew is wonderful. Have another one scheduled for Tuesday! And a meeting with a client Monday afternoon to find out when we can start her job, which will be a 2 week job! That one will be lots of fun! Can't wait to start that one! This one on Tuesday, none of us are looking forward to...oh well...it'll be good when it's over!

I hope everyone else is doing good! Congrats to KD and the new grandbaby!

;)

 Sally I'm sorry you're feeling crummy today. I know the struggles of OH humidity all to well. Feels like that out here and that is just wrong.

Take er easy today, you're entitled. On the bright side :) , it's not a MS thing. Feel better soon.

Just remember FG, I know you like your work, but please don't over do it!
(Taffy shaking finger at FG...) Now get out there and make Idaho beautiful!

Hooooooo Raaaaaaaaah, FG. Way to go girl. I'm so glad you are back to feeling well enough to do what you love to do.:Excited:

You must show us pics of some of your finished products. I'd love to see them. Maybe a few before and after photos?
