Default eyes

I don't know what is going on with my eyes. A couple of days ago i 'saw' hair in my eyes and was continually trying to push it away. My hair isn't even long enough to be down in my eyes. Yesterday when I woke up I noticed when I was looking at a white surface like a computer screen that I had 'black snow or what I call dirt'. I only saw it when looking at a white surface. Well today it is all the time. At Walmart I could really tell a difference in my vision. Just in the house with my TV not far from me or anything I needed not far it was OK. But in a big building I could tell it was a big difference. I have an appointment tomorrow afternoon. My eyes don't hurt at all so I don't think it would be optic neuritis. Oh course I don't know if you can have optic neuritis that doesn't hurt. The last time I had it it really hurt. I am diabetic. As a nurse I also know about retina problems. When I put my hand over my right eye, my left eye is pretty crappy, I mean really crappy but that is nothing new. My right eye has always been the strongest. But when I put my hand over my left eye, I can still see fairly well but that is where the dirt is. Great. My family Christmas is at my house this Saturday. 33 people. We are having the dinner some where else at a fellowship hall so no one is hosting it. I won't feel like I have to get up and refill anything or get something out of the fridge. We all pitch in. But the opening of gifts is to personal to be at an impersonal fellowship hall. Besides, we want people to stick around instead of going back o their hotels for the rest of the day.

I have an appointment tomorrow at 2. But it is New Years weekend and I have no idea what can be done about anything.
