I bought a couple of these for here & parents house.
I'm a para so i have it on desk & crank for upper body & wow it hits every muscle better then anything including weights.
Also have the ergo handles on 1 which are worth it for hand cranking.
Confess it's been collecting dust past couple years cause life got busy.
Kitty- great move getting to "move"! Exercise improves entire body.

EddieF, this has been the best purchase I have ever made. I've only been using it for about 2 weeks so far and I'm up to 18 minutes @ 8 mph 3 times a day. I feel like I could do 9 or 10 mph but don't want to push it too fast too soon. My arms and legs are already sore but I'm just going to push through it. I'm adding 3 minutes each day to each workout I do.

I feel SO much better with regular exercise. I used to go to the gym with my late husband and walk on the treadmill for 2 hours at a time.....nonstop. I miss that so much. But this bike works both your upper and lower body at the same time and I can really feel it today.

They also make a Theracycle 100 that wheelchair users can use. All their products get good reviews. Theracycle 1 - Leg Exercise Equipment | Theracycle

Happy exercising!

Kitty,

Just keeping up your routine is really quite an accomplishment.

I checked out the info site you listed. It really looks good. It is a bit more expensive for someone like me, who has a tendency to have good intentions but not disciplined. Anything I have picked up in the past very soon just gets dusted only. My hip/groin, legs and feet deal with painful issues including PN. My balance is really taking a hit, including muscle leg pain.

Can you tell, I'm trying to talk myself into trying this. I wish there was an exercise equipment store that I could first try this out rather than have it shipped. Hmmmmmm !!!!!!????????

Unhappy Worst Flare Ever

Not such good news.....

I've had the absolute worst flare I've ever had with MS. So bad that I lost total use of my hands and arms and legs for about two days. My Neuro ordered a 5 day IV Slumedrol course and, of course, after the first two days I felt fantastic then came the let down. At least I knew to expect it this time. I have 1 last day of it on Monday and I hope to start feeling better.

All of this prompted home health to be set up and now I have PT, OT and Home Health Nurse Practioner and a Social Worker to evaluate what I will need in the future.

The PT has said that this bike is not serving it's purpose and I could get something much less expensive and have the same results. So......my oldest son thinks I should try to sell it and keep the proceeds until we determine what will serve me best.

Anyone interested in this bike?
