Question Neuro in Portland

I am moving from Austin Texas to Portland Oregon.
I have a great neuro- m.d., phd- Dr. Fox.

I need a new one-- any suggestions??

I'm also on Tysabri and need a doctor to help me continue with my infusions.

Thanks :-)

Dr. Stanley Cohan or Dr. Mark Morrow, or Dr. Yerby. It's a great MS Clinic at Providence MS Center /St. Vincent's Hospital in the Beaverton/Portland Area.

Here's a link to their website for information and phone numbers.

I am doing a clinical trial there for Tovaxin and also know at least two other patients who see Dr. Cohan for Tysabri. He's great and so is his staff, each and every one of them.

The MS clinic at Oregon Health & Science University, headed by Dr. Dennis Bourdette, is the other MS clinic in Portland and is highly regarded. I have heard great things about Dr. Bourdette. I attended a lecture he gave once about his recovery from cancer, and I was very impressed with him. The MS center there does trials, research, etc.

I have never seen an MS specialist in Portland, although I did see two good neurologists here that I liked (except for the part when one told me I had MS, then a year later told me I was a hypochondriac for thinking I had MS! but I think he's a good doctor anyway). I have not seen a neurologist for 4 years.

Best of luck to you! Hope you like Portland.
