I take drops of a tincture, not gummies (see my earlier post in this thread), but as I recall, I didn't notice any change until I'd been taking it for at least 10 days, maybe 2 weeks. First noticeable change was that I could sleep through the night without waking up with spasms. I'd have been happy just for that, but over time I've experienced a broader reduction in pain & paresthesias but it was very gradual.

So, Kitty, it may be worth sticking with it at least for a few more weeks to see if your symptoms begin to improve. In any case, I don't think the CBD will do any harm.

Again, though, my neuropathic pain and spasms are due to spinal nerve impingement and spinal stenosis, not MS. Don't know if the effects would be different for MS patients.

When is MJ going to become legal??? Opioids are so addictive and they're given out like candy.

I thought medical marijuana was legal in Illinois.

SandyC was instrumental in the legislation.

There are no words to express my sadness that the gummies did not work for you. 😢

Hello everyone, I'm KATO. I'm usually on the PN thread. I found out yesterday that I'm being sent for an MRI of the brain to check for MS. I've been reading the post and I am very interested in the gummies. Will someone please PM me with a link? I need them but I'm not going to change any of my meds until I get my MRI results back. I'm thinking of ordering them for my momma. She has terrible spasms and insomnia. It would be great if they helped her. Thank you for your time. God bless, K.

I would never recommend decreasing any medication and substituting CBD gummies. I still take Baclofen for my spasms. I am not brave enough to back off the Baclofen yet.

Aarcyn,
I applied for the cannabis license last year; my neuro decided not to send in his recommendation due to my "balance issues"--this after telling me how to go ahead with the application process, and after I spent a couple hundred $$. So I was denied.
At my last appointment with him, my DH told him in no uncertain terms how upset he was by his turnaround and how MJ helps me. Neuro decided to go ahead and send the certification...but now I am in the process of applying all over again with paying out the $$ I already paid the first time.
So I wait...and wait...to see if I will be accepted. Part of the problem is the applicant has to be fingerprinted (like criminals), and I never pass the FBI portion. Then they have to do a name search to see if you're a felon. And there is a limited time period for the process to be completed.
It's a ridiculous process, especially with so many states legalizing MJ.

Yes, Sandy and Jim worked so very hard to make this a reality for Illinois patients. I went down to the capitol to watch the vote the first time...loved watching her keep everyone calm but pumped.
She should run for office...she's a real firecracker!!

Wow for how awful the legislation makes it for simply getting licensed in Illinois!

AZ was also prohibitively expensive to get legal originally. I don't know how it is now. When we moved to CA, the cost of living went up but the license dropped to $45/year.

Would it help to contact Sandy directly?

We've talked off and on about it...the Democratic governor who passed the MMJ bill lost to a Republican who isn't too keen on MJ.
This week the Illinois legislature proposed a bill to make MJ legal...the governor said he would never sign a bill for that until further research is done to ensure that MJ is safe.
Oh, so we should just take the opioids that are passed out like candy and wreck lives?:Crazy 2:

I found out my gummies are actually hemp based. This is why it is legal in all fifty states. It is also there is no funny feeling that goes with other edibles.

And I am glad they work for you!
