CBD oil is legal in all 50 states, as long as there is no THC content. I purchase my CBD oil from a vape store and use it at night and on long rides to help with spasms and pain in general. It does has an earthy taste. I may have to check into the gummies.

Did you get it from a vape store in town or online? If it was in town, I might have to drag my dad out on Monday to go pick some up... he could probably use some after having his stroke he has full use of his left side but a lot of stiffness and spasisty that hasn't gone away and interrupts his stride. Granted he'd probably be happy now that he's fully retired to smoke the real stuff and get his high on , but he's not willing to deal with the cold and moving to Colorado. So if he can legally get the benefits of the Cbd that would be great. And better still if I prove to be allergic I can pass along to him whatever I don't use.

I don't have MS, but as I was scanning down the list of posts the title "CBD gummies" caught my eye. After reading the posts, I decided I should add my two cents.

I suffer from radicular nerve pain owing to impingement of several spinal nerves, and a badly degenerated spine. I experience paresthesias (ranging from an ever-present buzz, through tingling, pins and needles, to numbness). I also was experiencing electric shock type pain in my arm and hands, and intermittent spasms that were bad enough to make me stop driving.

I've done a lot of PT, and continue to do cervical traction at home with a Saunders machine. I take nortriptyline daily which helps some, and I have tramadol for breakthrough pain. About 5 mos ago I finally decided to experiment with some marijuana products to see if I might get some more relief.

I live in Colorado, where both med & recreational MJ are legal, so availability and legality are not a problem.

First I tried CBD oil -- no THC -- since I was not interested in getting high. Almost immediately I began to sleep thru the night without waking with a spasm. Then I read in several places that having a little THC in the mix actually can enhance the action of the CBD. Apparently it works, biologically, like a cofactor.

Anyway, I now microdose several times a day (every2-3 hrs) with drops of a tincture that has a mix of CBD & THC in about a 2:1 ratio. At night, before bed, I take a tincture that has more THC because it relaxes me (still without what I would call a "high" -- more like a pleasantly warm somatic feeling, similar to what you might feel from a single glass of wine).

Result: I sleep through the night, I don't get those debilitating spasms, haven't had one of those electric shock zaps in months. Recently I was even able to resume playing my guitar, which I had been unable to do for the past year or so because the required hand/arm posture would trigger spasms.

I haven't tried the gummies, but I do have some lozenges that I use if I plan to be away from home for several hours. I prefer the drops, but the lozenges are more convenient to carry with me than an open bottle of drops. I have not smoked or vaped.

In sum, I have enjoyed considerable relief since I began using the CBD products. One good indicator is that I have not had to take any tramadol at all in recent months.

Definitely worth a try if you live someplace where you can get these products readily.

What I have learned is that if one uses a CBD product without THC, it can be purchased online. So the gummies I use can be ordered in any state. I recommend this company only because this gummy works. Not perfectly but it works. And because it is legal, I am also including the cost in the medical portion of my taxes as medication.

Cost breakdown. $1.33 per gummy.

Since I take two gummies per night, I spend $2.66 per day to be able to sleep.

What would you give up for this? So many food items can be easily sacrificed on the concept of healthy idea of sleep...IMO

You can not purchase it in Camden County, the vape stores in Camden would be blackballed by the base. You would have to go to Brunswick. I purchased mine at Smoker's Wanted Vape Shop off exit 38.

To be clear and not let this thread go sideways, the CBD gummies are available through the Internet. Since it contains no THC, it is legal.

And this thread relates to MS spasms NOT spasticity or stiffness.

The question in my mind is whether my results can be duplicated by someone with the same symptom as originally outlined by me.

I received my bottle of gummies and the CBD water today. I'm hoping the gummies will settle the spasms in my legs down. Anyone else who purchases these please report your success or lack thereof here on this thread. I'm optimistic!

some are quite strong, though...I'm hypersensitive so I would have to be careful.
When is MJ going to become legal??? Opioids are so addictive and they're given out like candy.

I have very disruptive muscle spasms that jerk my right leg in a jolt every 20 seconds and have become painful.

The spasm usually begins in the late afternoon through the evening. If I get up and "move around," they may abate for a while but sometimes nothing will stop the movement.

When I lay in bed to read and sleep, lots of spasms. If the spasm does stop and I fall asleep, the spasm will wake me anywhere from 1 AM to 3 AM and continue every 20 seconds for hours on end.

I take baclofen and it sorta kinda works. Better than left untreated.

In California marijuana is legal so I will smoke and it will relax the spasm but since the effect of pot lasts for about 1/2 hour, the spasm will often return.

Enter CBD gummies. My marijuana representive comes to my apartment whenever I need to replenish either my bud or vape pen supply.

Last time he left samples of an edible CBD gummy for me to try. I ate two and had the best night of sleep in over six years. It could have been a coincidence. Second night, same experience. Third night, no gummies and a typical spasm night. Fourth night, two gummies and restful sleep through the night. Night six, I tried one gummy, not as restful.

So now I take two gummies per night and I have uninterrupted sleep.

If you live in a state where marijuana is legal, you can PM me and will share the website. The company sells HBD water so I may do two things at once...stay hydrated and quell the spasm beast.

Oh and a side note on CBD gummies. No THC so no high effect. When I experimented with the gummies during the day, no high. Totally unpopular with anyone looking for a buzz.

Well, I took the gummies and have been drinking the water but have not noticed any difference in the way I feel or my spasm symptoms.

I hate to give up but don't know how long to try.
