Thanks, Aarcyn. My oldest son was asking about the statistics, too. He said those should be readily available. It's hard not to get excited about something that could potentially give you part of your life back. But then I think about the patients who have improved......or say they have......who do you believe? $11,000 is a lot of money to dole out on something that may or may not work. It just makes me so mad that there are people willing to prey on the sick like this.....folks who are desperate to get their former lives back. Oh well, good things like this don't ever happen to me anyway. I'm not saying that to be depressing.....just honest.

Thanks for your feedback, Cyn. I'll keep ya'll posted on what, if anything, I get back from this company.

Well, I heard back from the patient advocate I've been emailing with. I had asked about statistics from former procedures and if l could see them. If I were doing something this groundbreaking I'd sure as heck be keeping strict statistics on everything about the procedure.

This was my answer: "Everything we have is anecdotal so it’s not exact unfortunately but for the patients we see here and follow up with, we see about a 2/3 success rate. Unfortunately we do not have any stats on how long it takes on average however I have noticed results come within the first 3 weeks to 3 month on average."

Needless to say I won't be having this procedure. I feel like it's just an opportunity for me to be a guinea pig in someone else's experiment. If anything they should be paying me!!

Just one more disappointment........

Kitty, I am very sorry that it turned out that way.

Thanks, Kiwi.

I've learned over the years not to get my hopes up too high. Good things like this might have been generally don't happen to me.

I just wish these people, who are probably well intentioned, would think twice before advertising a miracle drug/cure. All they're doing is using the folks who get the procedure done as practice dummies. And raising the hopes of folks who have been let down too many times before.
