I hate to post this news because some people here may be taking Ocrevus or hoping to take it soon. PML is a rarely occurring "adverse event" for some of the MS drugs, and now it seems that Ocrevus is among them. Earlier cases of PML in patients on Ocrevus were thought to have occurred because those patients had been on other MS drugs before Ocrevus. This new case, which ended in death, was in a patient for whom Ocrevus was the first MS drug.
