Oh Oh, I just saw an elephant and a deer of some kind at the pond. A lot of activity in the water and then the elephant left and so did the deer...The aligators coming up for a meal, perhaps..LOL.

I love this, Thanks AZ..:)

I also have a live cam of Waikiki Beach in Hawaii. If any of your friends are there, they can actually wave to you live....It's fun too.

Sally, I'm so glad you saw them. Maybe it's because these animals are wild and not in a zoo, but I just love to visit the pond.

Now, I'm off to Waikiki Beach :) to see the happy people there.

Well, since I saw them at 2pm EST, I think it was 7pm Africa time, so maybe they like to come out for one last hurrah, before heading to bed.:D

I haven't been able to stay up long enough to see their sunrise. I'd have to be awake at 2 or 3AM.

This site has saved me thru the last two weeks before school starts!!!!

My daughters (ages 7 years , 8 years and 20 months) park themselves in front of screen and keep track of what they see--- to the littlest every animal is a "see a cute!"

Thanks so much!!!

Bethany

Quick, look...a herd of elephants!! (12:28 p.m. EST)

AfterMyNap 08-15-2007 01:15 PM

Crap! Missed the elephants!

Hyenas on right now and someone is actually manning the cam!

azoyizes 08-15-2007 06:35 PM

Wow, there was a bunch of 'em. I've never noticed anyone manning the cam.

I like to look, but I sure wouldn't want to be out there in the dark with wild animals!! :OuttaHere:

I think it's done from a radio remote, when the critters quiet down in the morning, the motorized drivers are audible. I've noticed that if you reload the page often, you can jump from camera to camera. I think there are three.

Aren't those critters noisy!?!

I so enjoy the "noisy" critters. Love the birds during the day, and the crickets at night. I keep the pond open in a window and surf in another. That way even when I'm not watching I can still enjoy the symphony.

I am so glad this site was brought to our attention. Especially I've not been sleeping at night, I get to see the dawn breakfast group.

Wednesday, I saw 2 ostriches today splashing in the water. There was a noise, then silence, the animals rushed toward the trees, and within 30 seconds the wind was blowing the dirt so much the camera were blank.

Right now there's an elephant and it's still pretty dark. Going on safari.
