3 days from taking this I am back to square one. The improvement I see is my vision has improved and my energy is up. I had no idea just how low my energy was.
The con I'm experiencing is I'm shaking a good amount in both arms/hands and my walk is off. Although I must add that I hardly slept so I'm betting that's way my hands are shaking.

I don't know what the next step from here will be. Not only is this terrible but I have NO ONE to help me. No friends, no family, well a mother who i live with and has many issues (retired) and will not deal with this and when I tell my family from out of town I think we need to relocate soon to a one bedroom the response is "we'll deal with that when we have to". i want to get myself situated but I'm stuck because my Mom won't discuss anything with me.

This is after your three days of Medrol, correct Petpuppy? I have no experience what-so-ever with this drug, but hopefully someone will come along and give you some advice.

I'm sorry to hear that you don't feel you have the support of your family.

Cherie

This is after 5 days of Medrol - 32mg - 30 pills a day.
Thanks Cherie. Unfortunately, it's true I do not have their support but at this time all my hurt feelings are gone and I just want to figure out what to do next.

Hi petpuppy,

I am so sorry you are having troubles. I did the oral medrol once. I found it really difficult to take all of those pills every day. I went back to IV.

You don't say where you live. Would you consider contacting your local MS Society chapter? My chapter has social workers and access to tons of resources to help us with all kinds of issues from insurance, to social security, to financial problems, and more.

It sounds like you could really use a therapist or some unrelated party to help you talk with your mother.

I hope you recover soon. I think you ae wise to think ahead for your future. It is empowering to make decisions on our terms, rather than wait and have to move immediately out of need.

Glad for you, and all of us, that we have BT pals for support and voices of reason.

MSM
