Thank you Harry for your nice response. I was afraid that we had lost your presence here but a happy to hear that you are sticking it out with us.

I'm glad we could be a comfort for you during this very sad and difficult time and hope that will continue. I so appreciate your hope and support for us here and look forward to all your posts.

It's a little slower here than at the "Other Place" and it sometimes seems like we disappear and then walla here we are again but I want you to know that most of us read here every day All the best to you

Hi Dorrie,

I've been through Keswick a number of times when we lived in Toronto. A friend had a cottage on Lake Simcoe.

Thanksgiving this year will be very low key under the circumstances but I'm doing just fine with friends and family support.

Take care.

Harry,

Do you have children? How are they coping with this loss?

Why don't you take a break from all the forums you visit for a while? Without a personal need to participate, a change in focus and new direction in your life might help you to not stay "stuck" in thinking about illness all the time and will give you a chance to direct your time and energies towards health and healthy directions in your own life. I'm sure Marg would not want you to stay "stuck" with MS, especially when she is now free of it herself.

A change in focus might be just what YOU need to move on with your life and focus on good memories of your wife and all the things she was about that didn't revolve around illness and MS.

Wannabe,

Thank you for your good suggestions.

I've already cut back a bit on visiting the various forums and don't respond to as many threads as I used to.

Fortunately I've never looked at these forums as being a place to be "stuck" or being totally focused on illness. My main goal as always been to offer an opinion and advice to other MS patients or their families in an attempt to try and help them in any way that I could. I will continue to do this as much as I can because I know that Marg would want me to do that if I could.

Take care.

Harry

There are a number of people who asked me to pass on their condolences from BT, Harry. Please know you are in our thoughts.

You have been the voice of reason on a number of MS topics, and I hope you hang around. Thanks for being there for Marg, and the rest of us.

Cherie

Cherie,

How kind a gesture from those people....please let them know that I really appreciated their condolences.

I will certainly be hanging around this forum and a few others. Knowing I can possibly help these wonderful people from my experience of being with Marg for so many years makes me feel very good.

I am now going through a huge adjustment now that Marg has gone. I miss her dearly but at the same time am comforted that she no longer has to suffer any more.

Thanks guys for all your support.

Harry
