The lake effect will only kick in when the lake gets cold enough. Most lake effect will effect where I live in the spring when the air is warmer then the lake. We've got lake effect rain  going on today and tomorrow. I'll trade you my weather for yours! |

We lived in Arizona for nine years and for the first six or seven years, I did great. I was able to walk and hike, and I stayed pretty active. The humidity is very low, averaging around 10-15%. However, May to October can be blistering. Then, you stay in an air-conditioned place mostly. Winters are marvelous, my favorite time there. The heat and humidity quickly sap what little strength and energy I have now, so I try to stay inside when it gets too bad. |
