Default A Typical Oct Morn -- Not!

Sheesh 90 yesterday and 90 today....Record highs for Ohio.. I made my DR. appointment for what I thought would be cooler weather in Oct. HA!!!

I don't know about you guys, but I'm beginning to believe all those Global Warming scares. Could we talk this over Lord? I tryed to be a good girl...well, tryed..."A" for effort here.

Are you all having the same problem in your neck of the woods? This kind of stuff is really bad for us MSers. I'm feeling a bit like a prisoner in my A/C home. I do count my blessings that I DO haved A/C (thank you very much, Lord)

Well Sally . . . it's been cold, rainy, snowy, and without sunlight here since basically last November, which is very unusual for Vancouver.

You know it's the Americans who are the worst "greenhouse gas" offenders in the world though . . . so maybe you are onto something?

Don't worry, the cold will come soon enough, no doubt. I HATE the cold.

Default "Some like it HOT!"............

but not me!!! You're right Sally, this is way beyond "Indian Summer". It's not quite as bad here, in the 80's and so far today there's a breeze. But I wouldn't want to go outside in that boiling sun.

When I look out my windows at the mountains, the colors are becoming beautiful but then it sure doesn't feel like a normal Oct. Think my AC will be going on shortly. CHILL.....hee hee.

(Wish I could use those cute emoticons with my old webtv.)

Yes, thank you Lord for my AC!!!!

Finally some cooling temps here and a wonderful breeze to boot. We tied a record yesterday at 88. Rain and temps in the high 50's are on their way. Without a/c, I've been miserable and re-adapting to humidity sucks. Can one lose weight by sweating?

I packed all my warmer clothes when I moved back here and would have killed for a summer top and even the dreaded shorts. I'm going to enjoy the temps for soon enough the bitter cold and the dare I say "s" word will be here. Geez, I sure hate to be cold.

Hope everyone is moderately temp-ed today!

It is the usual cold, damp, drizzle weather of the PNW! What's this? I am growing mold on my arm! (kidding)

Hi Sally,

We live in a small town east of Cleveland. Our house is about 1/4 mile south of Lake Erie. We've got really chilly temps (50's) and drizzly cold rain today, BRRR!

But I'll take this over the heat and humidity which has dogged me since my return a month ago. Just don't send me any of the cold "S" word, yucka mucka.

How about you?

Well, it really depends on where in Canada, vs. where in the US . . . at least normally.

This last year has been horrible. We got two BIG snowfalls last winter, and some bad storms. The worst part was all the rain though.

Vancouver weather is normally very moderate, and definitely moreso then the eastern part of Canada and the US. This is actually a good environment for MSers.

I still HATE the cold.

Cherie

Strange weather here, too. Four days straight of near or at 90. Today, low 70's. Next three days are supposed to be in the low 60's. Thankfully, the humidity has finally gone down.

My favorite temperature would be low 70's, but I guess that would get boring after awhile. We moved here three years ago from Arizona, and I'm still trying to get used to the cold weather.

Hi Mary Ann!

A quick question -- after living in Arizona, how did your MS react there? Are you extra sensitive to humidity and do you find that in Arizona? I always hear people say it's a "dry" heat???? Seems to me, hot is hot!! Guess with my fibro, the humidity is a killer. Still trying to find the "ideal" climate. Thanks!!!
