Ha! Got lucky! It's wicked windy, cold, and it started raining! Woo hooooo!!!!!!

My little buds came over for a visit and now they're off to church fun for the evening. My tiny bud, Justin started walking while I was away!

That's great that he started walking!

Lucky you! Icky weather is always great to keep the kiddy beggars away! It's nice here. 55 degrees, sunny - yep it's still light outside. Supposed to get down to 34 tonight (or early morning!)

Just me and the dog. Woohoo! ;)

Oh, I dunno. He probably found some other middle-aged, disease-ridden women to eat cyber chocolate with him.:Sigh::Sob::icon_cry::Bawling::Bawling:

The kids, well most of them, were so cute. My limit was two peices of candy. One of the little boys was so scared I couldn't convince him to take 2. It was his first Halloween. This was the first time we had a bus stop at our street. I know Halloween is an equal opportunity holiday but geez. But all the kids were very polite. This was the first year also that we didn't have anyteenagers. Hmmm, it's almost midnight, maybe they still are planning on coming.

we only had one group of kids. :(

We didn't have as many kids as we usually do. Started to give handful of candy as the night went on. I was very surprised at the number. Also we didn't have many teenagers also. They have out grown candy want cash instead. Times are really changing. Are we admitting we are from another time, world. That is how I feel sometimes with they way things are in this world. Now to fight the temptation of the left over candy. Have a good day All. Have to go and pay my taxes and water bills it is that time of the year UGH!

Bah Humbug!! I'm just glad it's over..:p

So what are ya doing on Thanksgiving..Turkey Day?
I am the Matriarch of the family now and since I can't get it all together, our family traditions have dried up. The younger generation doesn't seem to get it.

We will probably have Krogers, ready to cook and eat, turkey dinners. They are pretty darn good....not as good as Grandma's but not bad.

Sooooo "Over the river and thru the woods, to grandmother's...er...kroger's house we go"..LOL
