is it cold already where you live sally? or could you sit at a little table outside for a little while? we did that with my dad one year. was chilly, but the 30 minutes was worth it. this year will be hard for me. my front door is down stairs. i can't do but a few trips up and down daily. i'm going to sit outside. this is texas...and the weather is still nice though. i know the ringing of the doorbell is fun for the kids, but i figure one less door and still get candy? they won't mind.
